What does it take to drive meaningful change as a woman in the world of health IT? Just ask Bright.md’s Julia Millard, who was recently named to The Healthcare Technology Report’s Top 25 Women Leaders in Consumer HealthTech of 2021. As Bright.md’s vice president of customer success and services, Julia partners with leading health systems to develop their digital health strategies, engage patients, and drive operational efficiencies.

Under Julia’s leadership, Bright.md — which was recently named 2021’s Best Overall Telehealth Solution by MedTech Breakthrough — saw its customer base grow by more than 1,000 percent, with her direction leading to more than 90 percent of patients wanting to use the Bright.md platform again.

Julia is a seasoned healthcare software executive who brings more than 15 years of experience to Bright.md. On a daily basis, Julia works with Bright.md customers to improve provider engagement and increase patient access to care. Her extensive background with new technology implementation includes time spent with Epic, as well with Providence Health & Services in Portland, Ore. where she gained additional health care technology and operational experience. Julia is also an active member of the American Telehealth Association Policy Council and serves as President of the Oregon Chapter of HIMSS, which focuses on developing the health tech space in Oregon and mentoring upcoming leaders in the industry.
