Bright.md Fall ‘21 product release: An easier, competitive digital experience for your patients

At Bright.md, we believe that an asynchronous interview adds meaningful value to every clinical interaction for patients and providers. By utilizing asynchronous care during more interactions, increased access to healthcare is possible, while making it more convenient and less confusing. Not to mention, providers can decrease administrative burden through automation and become more efficient wherever possible.

With our Fall product releases, Bright.md is delivering enhancements that enable our customers to create an easier digital experience for patients, while helping health systems stay competitive in an increasingly changing market.

Put a spotlight on your asynchronous care program with digital navigation right from your website. Navigate by Bright.md brings clarity to the patient experience, while helping you save costs by guiding patients to the right care venue for their needs. In turn, this release helps your system attract and retain patients in a competitive market, all while achieving positive patient outcomes.

Navigate is easy to implement, mobile friendly, and includes fully configurable care options. The platform includes more than 100 conditions for the patient to choose from, with emergent and potentially emergent conditions flagged appropriately.

Discover customizable care options for escalations

This release is the beginning of Bright.md’s larger initiative towards fully configurable care routing. It includes customizable care options that enable you to define the care options unique to your health system, as well as the specific escalation points in which they should be presented.

For example, a patient completing an interview for a urinary tract infection may be escalated out of asynchronous care if they say they also have a fever. At this point, the patient is presented with a suggested next step to care, as determined by your organization. For instance, If the complaint is less complex, you can direct them to your online chat, while more complex scenarios could require a video on-demand appointment. Bright.md’s new feature allows you to tailor your patient journey for all clinical pathways.

Proxy interviews for pediatrics and adults

Proxy relationships are now automatically configured through the use of Smart on FHIR for patient authentication. As a result, parents and caregivers can more easily receive convenient, accessible care for their dependents.

Deep-Link interviews for targeted patient outreach

When promoting or directing patients to a specific clinical interview, you can now send a direct link when using Smart on FHIR for patient authentication. The latest standard from HL7 brings modern API-based access, making it easier for patients to use Bright.md.
